 - In July 2006 was establish a Working Group (WG) to develop a Code of Practice
MEWM was responsible to summon this group.
- The Romanian Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Association ( NC ) initiated the process and supported the MEWM in the establishment of this working group.
- The Code of Practice will have to be developed and finally agreed upon by relevant representatives from the trade and relevant authorities.
- The WG was consist of representatives form the trade, including representatives from different sectors (importers/distributors of refrigerants, representatives of companies providing service to both mobile and stationary air-conditioning) and relevant authorities such as the MEWM, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Commerce, the Environment Protection Agency and the Standardization organizations (authorities responsible for pressure vessels, safety of flammable refrigerants are also involved in the work whenever questions are relevant to their responsibilities).
